Philippe Blache_Noctivigilus (Letters From the Dead) 2026

Conceptual album by Philippe Blache (from veteran neoclassic dark ambient project “Day Before Us”). This album makes an implicit reference to Elizabeth Rowe’s devotional, blissful, heavenly and mourning poetical writing in “Friendship in death, twelve letters from the dead”. The music is at a cross between power electronics, transcendantal noises, sombre neo-liturgic thoughtfulness and engulfed piano music in minor key. All in all 'Noctivigilus' explores haunting cinematic driftscapes and reflective nocturnal strolls to satisfy your need of sombre poetical escapism.
