Day Before Us is an ethereal, neoclassical ambient music project formed (in 2010) by the anthropologist and sound producer Philippe Blache, joined in 2015 by the Russian based singer, lyricist and poetical writer Natalya Romashina. Physical albums are signed and distributed by Rage in Eden, Twilight Records, OPN records, GH records…The project occasionally gives live performances, writes scores to international art events and participates to intermedia collaborations. In itself the music presents dense, solemn, melancholic and profundly emotional soundscapes in touch with the mysterious ineffable beauty of the nature, depicting with nuances the vastitude of the inner worlds. Main sources of inspiration come from the antique and the romantical poetry, symbolical sceneries, mystical love, spiritual journey…

Day Before Us est un projet musical fondé en 2011 par l’anthropologue et artiste sonore Philippe Blache, rejoint par la chanteuse et poète Natalya Romashina en 2015. La signature musicale oscille entre paysages sonores enveloppants, sombres, intimistes, cinématographiques et envolées lyriques. Le projet se produit occasionnellement en concert et participe à des collaborations artistiques lors d’installations. Day Before Us manifeste un intérêt prononcé pour le symbolisme poétique slave, le romantisme, le parnasse et la défense de « l’art pour l’art »…Les toiles sonores tentent d’approcher une métaphysique du coeur, tendue vers l’absolue et proche de la nature, de ses mystères. Le projet bénéficie d’une couverture médiatique élargie (presse écrite, interviews, passages radios) et d’un partenariat renouvelé avec différents labels, distributeurs.

«DayBeforeUs» –неоклассический дарк эмбиент проект, созданный Филиппом Блаше в 2011 году. К настоящему моменту шесть полноформатных альбомов проекта изданы на таких лейблах, как Rage in Eden, Cold Spring, Twilight Records, OPN Records, GH Records… Небольшое количество мини-альбомов были также опубликованы на лейблах Triple Moon Records, Cathedral Transmissions… В музыкальном плане проект исследует возвышенные поэтические чувства, внутреннюю сущность и лирические движения души. Содержание композиций предлагает оригинальную и динамичную смесь просветлённых мистических резонансов, мрачно-извилистых (пост) эмбиентных текстур и завораживающих мелодий в минорном ключе, переплетающимися с вокальными партиями и текстами, написанными и исполненными Натальей Ромашиной, участницей проекта с 2015 года, на разных языках (английском, русском, латыни), а также текстами на французском языке, взятыми из классической поэзии символизма.
