Said to be one of the pioneers of the sub-genre funeral doom metal along with Thergothon.
Skepticism had a bassist on their 7" debut who quit right after its release. On their second release they had a bass player from another band. The bass on Stormcrowfleet was a session member from the band Lihtede. There was also a second guitarist and no keyboardist in the beginning.
Participated on the compilation CD "The Cold, The Silent" by Dragon Flight Recordings LLS, with the song "The Everdarkgreen".
