 		KATAPYGON — арьергардный музыкальный проект, сплавляющий дикую ритуальную электронику с античной поэзией в индустриальных пригородах Москвы.

Названием проект обязан статье из Ономастикона Юлия Поллукса:

ἀπὸ δὲ πυγῶν ὀνόματα εὔπυγος, καλλίπυγος, καταπύγων, καὶ καθ' Ἡσίοδον πυγοστόλος· οἱ δὲ Ἀττικοὶ καὶ τὸν μέσον τῆς χειρὸς δάκτυλον καταπύγονα ὠνόμαζον. (Julius Pollux Gramm., Onomasticon Book 2, section 184, line 3)

От слова Жопа образованы существительные - доброзадый (εὔπυγος), прекраснозадый (καλλίπυγος), взаднющий (καταπύγων) и гесиодово жопоукрашательница (πυγοστόλος). Жители аттики также называют средний палец руки взаднющим (καταπύγων)
