The name Strydwolf translates to “Battle wolf”, and derived from the Edda. The name is synonymous with “Fenris”. This project started in 2007 as a martial industrial one-man army (Demo’s “Weltstorm” and “Heitelân”), but pretty soon other influences like military pop and neofolk made an entrance into the electro-acoustic sounds (CD “Ljocht”, 2009). The latest Strydwolf CD “Dunkle Wälder” (2011) is focussing mainly on romantic neofolk, and was released by SkullLine.
