Status: Offline | The project, Californian DIVISION was created in January 2024 it's still fresh. The original version was for the first singer under the name Swank Cafe Records, but waiting for her reply I composed one unique song on which I sing and the name Californian DIVISION ringed in my head (the mind division from a short californian trip for a disturbed youngun non US native).

неплохо поначалу, но дальше слишком хаотично, нужно иначе аранжировать, а так это демо уровень, не более чем

Status: Offline | The current version is already schedulded for digital distribution, but I already had intentions to revisit the song for the next release which should be a collaboration with another singer, or preferably the 1st one. I'm trying to recontact the 1st singer as we did not so bad demos together but she is not reacheable for some reason I should clarify soon with her. We kinda had hard times understanding eachothers last time we seen and I hope she is not forfeiting the project we started together.
In the worst case, I actually have a reply from an ad I made on some site before we decided to form the original duo, which could be my new singer, we'll see, but I would prefer keep the original one as she was a soprano singer, and classical music artist as I, and this could be very interesting. We already made a Neoclassical demo that she composed the chorus for, maybe I could show it here on a YouTube link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81CBCuLrIQU. The chorus is based on Eastern music inspiration, maybe Hungarian she said, the rest part of the song is something I composed at the piano and put it on DAW real quick, it is just a showcase demo, mouse entered notes not well mixed. The lyrics are still to be written and her chorus theme is to be confirmed once more by her (we don't live yet in the same city as I speak, but I will try to see her soon).
I'll keep updated on how this gonna end up for the duo as the project could change from one direction to another in the times to come. One last thing is that I intend to get a semi accoustic guitar and practice it, this would greatly improve the songs structure I think.

Status: Offline | All this "emotions" and meeting this singer... I realize it feel it's really unfinished work, something far of the completion. And for the occasion of no more answers from the two singers, I close this project. Was nice experience.
I'm actually working on a serie of little composition in the genre Chanson Noir where if we happen to play live, I could be at the piano, the cellist at his place and the singer too.
