We embark on a voyage through the archaic Devonian seas and immense swampy forests of Carboniferous; across the amphibian Permian landscapes; up to the tropical Triassic, Jurassic and into Cretaceous - the final dominion of titanic reptilian beasts.

The vision you are about to experience is inspired by an ancient era when colossal reptilian beasts, gigantic insects, bizzare marine creatures and immense forests that spread all across the massive supercontinents, reigned this world supreme.

“Primal Earth” is a unique piece of art, a glimpse into the times before memory. This one-hour long soundscape invites the listener to completely immerse oneself into the fathomless world of ancient archetypes.

Fifth full length album by Paleowolf. "Archetypal" stands as a powerful, monolithic fusion of ancient prehistoric archetypes that have been shaping and challenging Mankind since its dawn of the planet.

Powerful and energetic tribal drum-works are pumping the adrenaline and awakening the inner strength of a Warrior, Shaman and Survivor archetypes. Shamanic chants and voices that echo through timeless caves and archaic forests are calling and praising the divine forces of Nature. The tribe grunts and shouts to charge the collective body, mind and spirit with the eternal energies of the Wilderness.

As the charge completes and fires slowly extinguish, the ancestors enter the Old Dream, while moonlight is reflecting the shadows of giant megaliths in the distance.

“Archetypal” is definitely one of the strongest and most intense Paleowolf releases so far.

Sixth full length album by Paleowolf. Prehistoric, meditative ambiental voyage to the early Neolithic era, a sound ritual invoking the visions of the ancient Megalithic culture, that once spread across the Old Europe and throughout the world. Primeval drums and prehistoric flutes fused with dark, atmospheric drones and “megalithic” shamanic chants are awakening the archetypal images from the mysterious past of civilization’s origins.

“A vision from the wake of the humanity appears: giant, monolithic stones with cryptic inscriptions are slowly rising on the horizon, their surfaces glimmering on the reflecting sunlight… Massive constructions as tall as trees towering the archaic landscape are telling a story about a mysterious people that arrived in these lands long time ago. We don’t know where they came from and why are they here – but they have been erecting these monuments across the vast realms for many generations. The colossal pillars now stand as shrines of ancestral wisdom, imagination and unity, spiritually connecting these divine children throughout the ancestral lands. Soon they will be forgotten and consumed by time, with their true nature and purpose remaining only in a memory of the chosen few.”

Track titles are based and inspired by the ancient, reconstructed Proto-Indo-European language.

With the seventh full length album, Paleowolf returns to the roots of his work. Tribal, rhytmic ancestral drums coupled with ethereal and often distant vocals that chant from beautiful forests, plains, caves and seas, are evoking a vision of early proto-Earth when Nature reigned supreme. "Primordial II" is a continuation of the atmosphere from the debut album, but also work for itself, marking the evolution of the prehistoric tribal sound.

"...What was the sound of a forest, eons ago, when no human mind was there to hear it and appreciate it? Or, perhaps someone did dwell there: in the depths of the woods, in the shadows of the rocks and icebergs, in the loneliness on the top of the mountain... Perhaps someone, or something, stopped and wondered: "What is life? Who am I? Why am I here? Where am I going after this?". It is possible that we shall not find out what exactly was our prehistoric Earth... But, we know that the voice of ancient Nature is still here - it is asking these questions through us. And some of us can still hear it."
