"Moriah Woods began playing classical music at the age of five and continued through her high school years. She began exploring the country in 2007 and discovered the musicians of the streets in Western United States. She became inspired by this raw, passionate self expression and immersed herself in traveling and performing random instruments with underground folk punk bands, outlaws and song-writers. Upon her return home to the mountains of Colorado in 2009, she picked up the guitar and began writing her own songs. the banjo was later added to the creative mix. Her classical background mixed with street folk, and love for the raw and heavy mixed with the low and delicate, old-time American classics and a knack for authentic self expression creates a very modern, deep and powerful, yet rustic musical sound.
Since her move in 2014 Moriah has played every major city in Poland, traveled to 7 different European countries, founded the band 'The Feral Trees' with 3 other Polish musician's and released their debuit album.

Moriah Woods Trio has supported such artist as LP in December 2016, John Garcia of the Californian Desert Rock band 'Kyuss' and Emma Ruth Rundle coming from the Californian label 'Sargent House'
Moriah has continued to build her solo project, consisting of Michał Głos on Drums and Mariusz Antas on bass. The trio and Moriah as a solo act, continues to tour extensively. See dates for details.
