Influenced by acts like Sona Eact, Hypnoskull, Converter and Imminent Starvation, Thorsten H. founded N8STROM2618 in 2002. The idea was to mix rough distorted rhythms with simple melodies.
In May 2003 the first CD-R “Beware” was released, which was followed by the album “Dienstfahrt 63684” in autumn 2003. The “Headhunter EP” came out February 2004 and contained remixed tracks of the first two albums. In autum 2004 the double-CD-R “The European Noise Contest/N8schicht” was completed.
After one year break the next album “N8FAHRT” was released on CD-R in autumn 2006 and two years later the double-CDR “Darkworld” came out in Oktober 2008.
All these albums were releasend as limited editions with only a few copies and are completely sold out.
Since the lasts albums “Anxieties” and "Harmful" the sound of N8STROM2618 became darker and more melodious.

The Internet label Synth-Me presents the new full-length work of the German rhythmic noise project N8STROM2618. The project was formed in 2002 and has 10 full-length albums in its discography, one of which has already been released by Synth-Me.
