CDR in thick black gatefold cardboard sleeve with a picture affixed to the front, a title sticker to the rear, and a printed sheet attached to the inside of the gatefold. The image on this sheet is also printed on the non-playing side of the CDR.

This was meant to be a gig only release available at the Vienna Cave concert 3 March 2018. However Steven Stapleton was unable to attend so copies were sold from his website (and mailed from his home in Ireland).

all these tracks date from the early to mid eighties, at that time we were in the midst of the d.i.y cassette revolution. during that period everybody and their dog were compiling "international" tape compilations which, if you were luckily and took part in one of these endeavours may have gone on to sell 20 copies and you, for your trouble would receive a copy. well, in the eighties i didn't get out too much so i contributed to 15 or 20 of these international compilations, mostly i supplied a mix of whatever it was that i was working on at the time. thinking these pieces were destined to oblivion... until frank maier came along. other material here included some rather dodgy live events that i suppose at best could be thought as of slight historical value. more interesting is "destroyed piano" from 1983 recorded at i.p.s. studio, london just after completing "homotopy to marie". i always liked these but until now they never found a home. most flawed existence was remastered from cassette.
i would like to thank matt waldron for all his painstaking work in bringing the sound quality up to frank maier for his endless enthusiasm.

The LP cover features brand new artworks by Steven (a.k.a Babs Santini) and comes with an insert including a TNB / NWW article by Paul Hegarty (author of the much-acclaimed Noise/Music book.) The cover is printed on heavy 550mcn matt laminated board, and the insert on 250 gsm art board.

Steven Stapleton and co. pay tribute to Ur-document of industrial culture, by remixing it like every sane man would do. With religious reverence. Changez Les Blockeurs knows a priori that you can't improve the original album, so it takes a peak inside the legendary shed of the the Rupenus bros to worship every single squeak of it.

“This record is the first collaboration between Nurse With Wound and Band Of Pain. Each artist has used the other’s music as source material to create a sumptuous feast for all discerning and adventurous audio palettes.
There is no Side “B”, thus we have Side A and Side 1:
Side 1 Noinge (Parts 1 and 2)
Side A Gloakid With Phendrabites

The Band Of Pain side exclusively uses material from the NWW album "A Sucked Orange". It has been processed like a high street burger, with little meat of the original left. The result is a superb piece of Musique Concrète that sounds like it belongs in another century and another universe.

The Nurse With Wound side uses various Band Of Pain pieces that are battered and deep-fried beyond recognition. The results were sprinkled with an array of exotic spices, additional sauce and chemically enhanced additives. The final outcome is a dense, creamy, rich slice of vintage Nurse With Wound… with a twist.” (quotation by Andrew Liles from the labels website)
