Justin K. Broadrick returns to Pi Electronics with his second full EP under the moniker "JK Flesh”. This latest release also features a remix by the German industrial techno legend, Ancient Methods. Diverging from his previous offering, "PI04," PI11 unveils JK Flesh's real slow burners— a crossover between industrial and dub-techno. Broadrick’s mastery in industrial music meets his dub influences, resulting in meticulously crafted organic textures and relentless, tormenting dub-leaning techno beats. This EP is for those who appreciate music that unfolds gradually and rewards patient listeners. Ancient Methods' take on PI11.2 is a demonstration of his distinctive and trademark sound, perfectly transforming the depth of the original track into an industrial techno banger. The 11th instalment of the Pi Electronics EP series brings together two titans of industrial aesthetics: a UK musician boasting four decades of cross-genre music-making and one of the scene's most respected DJs and producers. The record comprises three original tracks, along with the remix, pressed onto 180-gram black vinyl, including an A5 insert. Additionally, two digital extra originals complement the physical release, providing a comprehensive sonic journey through Broadrick's work.

In the spirit of the intention of 'dubs', comes a new series, Echo Chamber Music, consisting of open ended manipulations of minimal JK FLESH 4/4 'techno' tracks, loosely traversing the 'industrial dub techno' concept (some vague meeting point between early industrial music e.g Throbbing Gristle, etc, and dub techno pioneers Basic Channel); gritty dub techno tracks reduced and inverted, indulging in the endless possibilities of the application of the processes of dub through dirt...
The series was intended to begin in 2021 with this first volume, but due to clashes with other project releases around the period, the series was put on hold until now - Nov 2024....

GODFLESH - A WORLD LIT ONLY BY FIRE 10 year Anniversary. Unbelievably, in 2024, this album is now 10 yrs old, and to celebrate, here is A WORLD LIT ONLY BY DUB ; 5 extended dubs /alternate versions of songs taken from A WORLD LIT ONLY BY FIRE. These versions were completed by JKB only recently, after some of these dubs had sat unfinished in a skeletal form for a number of years. These are extended mutated versions; exploring and pushing the inherently experimental nature of Godflesh, now finalised and somewhat re-contextualised 10 years later.
