Gelsomina: Rautavaara CD-R
The late singer, songwriter, actor, athlete, and man of the people Tapio Rautavaara (1915-1979) was in my opinion the greatest example of finnish "iskelmä" music of 1950s and 1960s. Although he kept recording and performing until his death, these decades saw his greatest accomplishments as a musician. This recording is a humble tribute to him to him and some of his greatest tunes. Harshnoise reconstructions done by Gelsomina at Studio 69 using only those original tracks as source material.
