Founded in 1995 in Rostock, Germany under the name Thorn (14) and changed later into Axon Neuron. After several tape releases on the self founded label Ragnarune they released their first CDr "Torrents Of Hagalaz" in 1998 under the name Axon Neuron/Vagwa. The project collaborated with Weisskreuz in 1997 and N.O.P. in 1998. Since 2002 the live line-up of Axon Neuron/Vagwa featured members of the band Aurum Nostrum on drums, keyboards and vocals. Also in 2002 Axon Neuron / Vagwa a collaboration with the French project Nocturne (2) under the alias Europaplan emerged. In 2004 Axon Neuron/Vagwa released their first vinyl mini album "Lohe" via the Berlin based label Eternal Soul Records followed by the double CD retrospective ":Documents 1995-2005:" on the same label. In 2007/2008 Axon Neuron/Vagwa released a series of limited edition CDs called „Archive“ and several 3“ CDs via the Ragnarune Mailorder. The final part „Archive Part III“ was released in 2009 as well as an „Archive“ boxset. The band had split up 2012. In 2014 the essential Axon Neuron/Vagwa backcatalogue was made available as downloads via their bandcamp website.

This album was originally released as limited edition CDR and limited edition boxset incl. CDR and cassette tape. This 12" includes the most representatively tracks from this releases.
Tracks 1 & 6 are remixes of tracks from: The wolf age cassette tape originally recorded in 1997, released July 1997.
Track 2 is a remix of a track from: Elbentrotsch: cassette tape, originally recorded in 1996, released in January 1997. Used female vocals by Freya Aswynn.
Tracks 3 & 4 first released on: Irreversible Neural Damage II: cassette tape from the IND: boxset, recorded in August 2000, released August 2001.
Track 5 first released on: Irreversible neural damage: CD-R, appeared also on : Thorned messages cassette tape, recorded and released on September 1999.
